Acquisition Support; Supply Procurement Facilitation

Research Opportunity Description:
The Acquisition Support Division, Supply Procurement Support Branch, has a requirement for facilitation. This facilitation has multiple components where assistance is warranted. In some cases, there is an opportunity to perform market research and/or scoping of an acquisition path for a multiple-parts transaction. In other cases, there is an ability to interrogate a database for historic trends or commonly used vendors. Additionally, there are back-end transaction processing that have historically been paper-based transactions that have/should/could be migrated to more digital-friendly formats. And there remain legacy challenges in data formats, data processing, and systems seamlessly integrating while remaining in policy compliance. The anticipated outcome is the delivery of a set of pre/post-transaction process improvement recommendations related to supply procurement support digital migration and commensurate metric to detail the efficiency gain of each recommendation
